The reason: Food is everywhere! It's even made it's way into my daughter's post-soccer game ritual! When did it become the norm to have a gatorade, gummies and a bag of cheetos after 30 minutes of activity?!

We are ingrained to want food anytime that it is available so step number one is...you guessed it, not having it available!

Secondly, our food choices are making it difficult not to reach for another snack within the hour. Granola bars are one of the most common snacks consumed in the US. One of the most important factors (should be) when looking at a snack is to pay attention to the glycemic load; this is a measurement how much a food raises your blood sugar. It really is possible to lose weight without depriving yourself of the foods you love. There's ways to eat to help curb your "wanting" to head to the pantry prematurely. There's so much information online regarding weight loss, and much of it is conflicting. It's time to see someone who can straighten it all out for you and get you on a plan tailored specifically for you!
