To eat or not to eat eggs...that tis the question

Do eggs have cholesterol...yes. Do I eat eggs on a near daily basis...yes. Cholesterol has gotten a terrible rap for many decades and I wish to shed some light on this terribly mis-understood molecule. Our bodies can so well regulate the amount of cholesterol present that if we eat meals higher in cholesterol, our body simply make less to account for the difference. For example, if 100 molecules of cholesterol is the goal and you eat 45 molecules, the body will make 55; if you only ate 15 molecules of cholesterol the body would make 85. (Now yes, there are certain liver disorders where someone might have difficulty processing cholesterol so in those extremely rare occurrences, the above example wouldn't apply)

Due to the fact that our bodies can regulate cholesterol, particularly to the extent that it does, eggs should not be avoided simply due to their cholesterol content. Eggs have a large number of vitamins and minerals and even more impressive, contain the perfect ratio of proteins and amino acids. Long story short; eat more eggs!
